Machining Services

In order to compete in today's - and tomorrow's - world market, Connecticut manufacturers need to produce parts more efficiently, at a higher quality and at a lower cost. CONNSTEP works with manufacturers of all sizes and within all industries to meet their production goals and protect their competitive position.

Machining Point Solutions
Leveraging the physics behind material removal, CONNSTEP's consultants use data to identify and solve the root causes behind machining challenges including burr formation, metal working fluid issues, and short tool life for metal, plastics, ceramics and composite materials.

Machining Kaizen
A methodology to improve machining processes in-house utilizing Lean approaches focused on the value-added effort inside the machine. Through the application of Lean tools, facilitated kaizens eliminate non-value added (wasteful) activities and improve productivity - adding production capacity by decreasing cycle time and cost.

New Technology Implementation
For companies looking to upgrade equipment and approach, CONNSTEP provides consultative guidance to evaluate machine tool selection, develop return on investment metrics, guide management of implementation projects and develop new processes on equipment using the latest techniques and approaches.

Why CONNSTEP?
We're independent - our focus is on your success not on equipment add-ons, or new cutting tools or alternative devices. The CONNSTEP machining consultants have diverse experiences and wide exposure across industries and within companies of all sizes and our goal is to assist in developing the appropriate solution to your issues related to cost, quality and delivery.
