Training Within Industry:  Job Relations
A while back I introduced the topic Training Within Industry, the phenomenally successful program that was implemented at the outset of World War II and was credited with turning the United States from a depression-era, mostly agricultural society into the world's most formidable industrialized nation. After the war ended, manufacturing sectors in the United States lost interest in this "war effort" and Training Within Industry faded into the history books.  Read on >>

Dur-A-Flex, Inc. of East Hartford, Honored with Award at 2010 MEP National Conference
Dur-A-Flex took home the first ever MEP Excellence in Innovation Award from a pool of eight nominees from across the United States. The MEP Excellence in Innovation Award recognizes MEP manufacturing clients that have implemented new systems or processes in manufacturing or technology that demonstrates profitable growth. CONNSTEP's Jack Crane Receives Lifetime Achievement Award at MEP National Conference
Jack Crane took home the first ever MEP Lifetime Achievement Award out of a pool of five nominees from across the United States. The MEP Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes outstanding advocates of U.S. manufacturing who have demonstrated consistent innovative and effective leadership while executing initiatives that have had significant economic impact and who have been with the MEP system for at least seven years.  Read on >>
