Bob Allard, Sales Consultant

Bob Allard joined CONNSTEP in late 2011, bringing with him over 30 years of Connecticut manufacturing experience with a focus on the manufacturing of consumer and commercial products.

Bob's career began in machine tool manufacturing and design at the U.S. Baird Corporation and was followed by his role as the Lead Prototype Test Engineer for U.S. Electrical Motors, a division of Emerson Electric. Bob also held positions in engineering and manufacturing at Schick/Energizer and as the Technical Services Manager at Transact Technologies, where he managed prototype development, product configuration, compliance, and testing.

Immediately prior to joining CONNSTEP, Mr. Allard spent over nine years as a Senior Recruiting Consultant and Sales Trainer, at RJS Associates, an executive recruiting firm. At RJS, Bob specialized in the placement of engineering and manufacturing professionals and received client development awards for eight consecutive years.

Bob is a past member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Connecticut Association of Personnel Consultants (CAPS) where he served as a board member.
