Frank Rio, Coordinator, Lead Generation

Since 2004, Frank Rio has been providing lead generation and business development services for CONNSTEP through the management of client outreach programs.

Frank has extensive experience in both buying and selling sides in the telecommunication, defense and aerospace industries. Prior to working with CONNSTEP, Frank worked in contracts management for Raymond Engineering of Middletown, Southern New England Telephone and Barnes Engineering in Shelton. He also spent time working as a Government Sales Representative for Brownell & Company.

Frank holds an MA in Economics from Fordham University and a BSS in Economics from Fairfield University. He has taught classes in economics at Manchester Community College and Central Connecticut State University. A lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Frank is an active member of the Connecticut Association of Purchasing Management. He is an avid racquetball player and enjoys engaging in political discussions.
